REGULATIONS
Guardox™ AE may be labelled as acerola flavoring, which complies with REGULATION (EC) No. 1334/2008 on flavourings and certain food ingredients with flavouring properties for use in and on foods. 
 
Guardox™ AE is an Acerola juice powder rich in naturally occurring vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and phenolic compounds (anthocyanins). It is a clean label alternative used to prevent oxidattive rancidity and color change in several applications.
 
FRESH GROUND MEAT
100mg/kg of Guardox™ AE was able to keep pinkish red color in fresh ground meat.
