Guardox™ RA is a product rich in rosmarinic acid with minimized odor and bitterness. The product functions as an antioxidant as a result of its radical scavenging activity and is used in order to delay oxidation in several applications, without flavor and taste impact.
PORK SAUSAGE
0.2 g/kg of Guardox™ RA was able to effectively inhibit TBA, protect color, stabilize flavor and show similar results than BHA/BHT in fresh pork sausages for up to 112 days in frozen storage conditions.
COOKED CHICKEN SLURRY
A combination of 0.2 g/kg of Guardox™ RA and 0.2 g/kg of Guardox™ AE controlled oxidation for pressure treated samples in the process line of cooked chicken slurry.
